Student Expectations: Students will be expected to be prepared for class each day. Homework assignments and upcoming quizzes, tests, or project due dates are posted on the board as well as on the class blog. Students are also expected to be on task in class when working on assignments. If a student needs to leave the room for any reason, they must ask for permission.

Grading: Each student’s grade will be determined based on the following scale:

- Unidad 1: ¿Quién soy yo? (Who am I?) - introductions, greetings, basic information about yourself
- Unidad 2: ¿Qué es una familia? (Family) - family members, describing people
- Unidad 3: ¿Cómo aprendemos? (school) - information about classes, schedules, and comparing with other countries
- Unidad 4: ¿Cómo pasamos el tiempo libre? (How you spend your free time) - things you like, locations
- Unidad 5: Vamos a comer (Let's eat) - food vocabulary, describing food, healthy eating
