Note: I will not be here tomorrow. I have a test training.

Translate the sentences into Spanish. Use your notes. Don't just stare at the board until I give you the answers.
Today you will begin part of the Assessment for Unit 4: "Family Tree Writing." You will write a draft about your family on paper. You may not use your Chromebooks at all. You can use the dictionaries, your notes, or your Interactive Notebooks.
This is what you need to do: read carefully!
I am looking for the following content, vocabulary and language control:
1. One sentence that describes the whole family. (noun-adj agreement: large/small/funny). Ex: Mi familia es grande y muy divertida.
2. One sentence that tells where the family is from. (ser+de+country)
Ex: Mi familia es de El Salvador y Alemania (Germany).
3. One sentence that tells how many siblings you have. (tener)
Ex: Yo tengo un hermano mayor y una hermana menor.
4. One sentence per family member that tells what they look like. (noun-adj agreement: short/tall/blonde/red headed) (If no siblings, describe a cousin or aunt/uncle). REMEMBER THERE SHOULD BE A MINIMUM OF 10 PEOPLE INCLUDING YOURSELF, YOU CAN ALSO USE PETS IF YOU CONSIDER THEM PART OF THE FAMILY. Ex: Mi hermana menor es morena. Ella es delgada, inteligente y muy divertida.
5. One sentences describing what they like or not like to do or something that they have, your choice. ‘A mi papá le gusta mucho viajar, él va a Europa todos los años.' or 'Mi hermano mayor tiene 2 hijos, ellos viven en España'
6. One sentence per family member that tells how old they are (tener w/age)
EX: Mi madre tiene 63 años. Mi abuela tiene 85 años.
As you can see this project requires a lot of writing so you can put into practice everything you should have learned during the semester. You will have today and tomorrow to work on it during class time. You have to turn the draft in today at the end of the class, NO EXCEPTIONS! Tomorrow I will give it back to you so you can finish it and type it your Weebly in Unit 4; title it 'Descripción de mi familia'. Everything should be finished at the end of the class on Tuesday.
