Today, your groups will try to "sell" your clothing to other groups to try to be the group that earns the most money. The purpose of this is to practice speaking Spanish and using vocabulary that you learned this unit.
Each group will need a Chromebook to display their store catalog.
Use as much Spanish as you can, but keep your sentences simple. See below for some helpful words and phrases:
Tenemos __________: We have __________
Es/Son de rebaja: It is/They are on sale
Es barato(a)/Son baratos(as): It is/They are cheap
Es caro(a)/Son caroa(as): It is/They are expensive
Es de color __________: It is __________-colored
Es de seda: It is silk (replace "silk" with any fabric)
¿Cuánto cuesta?: How much does it cost?
Cuesta diez euros: It costs ten euros.
Me gusta(n): I like it/No me gusta: I don't like it
(No) Lo quiero comprar: I (don't) want to buy it
Es un vestido rojo (una blusa azul): It is a red dress (a blue blouse)

You are planning a trip to Spain and want to buy some clothes online from a Spanish department store. You have a limited budget but plan to buy five items for your travel wardrobe. Write the names, colors, size, price, and style of five different clothing items. Also, write how much you think you would pay for each item in US dollars.

- Get into your groups
- Display your store catalog on someone's computer
- Find your group in the list below to see whether you will start off as a buyer or a seller.
- If you are selling, show the three catalog pages to the "buyers."
- Your group will alternate between "buying" and "selling" clothes.
- The sales manager will be in charge of showing the clothes their store has (Use simple vocabulary to describe the clothing- type, color, prices)
- The publicist should try to get people to come to the store (Talk about what is on sale and what is cheap: Es de rebaja/Es barato/barata)
- The artistic director is in charge of the money earned

- Click the assignment called U3: El Corte Inglés Webquest
- Open the document called "Corte Ingles Webquest" and read the instructions.
- Write your responses in the document.
- When you finish, click "Tun In" in Google Classroom.
