You will create a menu on paper or on a computer.
- If you use a computer, you may use one of these options:
- Google Drawing (in Google Drive)
- Adobe Spark post
- PosterMyWall.com menu maker
- You must turn in your menu to Google Classroom if done on the computer.
At the top of the menu, write the name of your restaurant in Spanish and the city and country it's in. Use a Spanish-speaking country.
Include the following categories:
- aperitivos/primer plato
- appetizers/starters
- entradas/platos principales/segundo platos
- main dish
- sopas y ensaladas
- postre
- bebidas
For each item in the menu, write a short description that either describes the food or that mentions what comes with the food (viene con...).
- Ex. La sopa está muy caliente.
- El bistec viene con ensalada o sopa.
For each item, also list an appropriate price in the currency of your chosen country.
Your menu should be neat, colorful and creative.

After you have marked up the article, on the back of the packet, you will write a short summary in English about the types of breakfasts that can be found in the regions mentioned. Compare those breakfasts to the types of breakfasts you are familiar with from home.
Explain the type of breakfast you prefer and give your thoughts on 1-2 breakfasts from the article.

You will continue working in your groups of 2-3 to prepare for your restaurant skits.
Remember: you must be ready to perform your skits in class on Friday.
- All groups should have completed their scripts yesterday.
- Make sure everyone has a copy of the script.
- Use this time to practice your lines with your whole group and alone.
- You will lose points if you are off task talking or playing on your phone instead of practicing your lines.
One person in the group will be the waiter, and the rest of the group will be customers.
Make sure to include all the requirements.
- Restaurant skit requirements: (50 points)
To review the unit vocabulary, you will create Frayer models. Do them on a separate sheet of paper.
Complete them for homework to be due Thursday if you don't finish in class today.
You will do 10 total Frayer models. You must include at least 1 word from each category on the vocabulary page.
For each Frayer model, include the following information:
- The word in Spanish
- The part of speech (noun, verb, etc)
- A logical sentence with the word/phrase
- A picture to represent the word
