All activities can be found in Google Classroom.
There will be live classes via Google Meet twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- First period from 8:30 am - 9:30 am
- Second period from 10:00 am - 11:00 am
- To show up for classes, sign into Google Classroom.
- Look at the top left under the class name, period and class code for the Google Meet link.
- Click the Meet link to join.
- Muting: when you enter the Meet, mute yourself if you're not already muted.
- Questions: when you have a question, type it in the text box, and wait for the teacher to call on you.
- Contributing: when you have something to contribute to what is being said, but it isn't your turn, use the chat feature in the right-hand corner.
- Your turn: wait for the teacher to call on you to unmute yourself. Only one student should talk at a time.
- Where to look: when talking, look into your camera.
- Muting: pay attention to the teacher or to students who are speaking.

During Google Meet, we will review conjugating reflexive verbs.
- First, we will do a Kahoot.
- Then, you will do some individual activities:
- Quia reflexive verbs practice quiz - tell me your score when you finish
- Quia reflexive verbs paragraph - complete the paragraph with the correct conjugation of the verbs in parentheses. Not all verbs are reflexive.
- Conjuguemos reflexive verbs conjugation practice - do at least 20 conjugations and finish with a score of 85% or better. Share your score with me - share your screen or send me a picture ([email protected])
I will go over this week's assignments:
1. Daily routine sentences
- In Google Classroom, open the assignment called "Daily Routine Sentences." Look at the attached image. For each picture shown, use your vocabulary (in Quizlet) to write a short sentence about what each person is doing. Add details such as a time (a las x:xx) or how often (siempre, a veces).
- Do not use a translator.
2. This Is Language video 5154 activities
- You should complete the Jigsaw activity for this video first.
- You will then complete the Video Vocab activity and then the Gap Fill activity.
3. Email reply
- In Google Classroom, open the assignment called "email reply."
- Read the email from an exchange student who is coming to stay with you. Focus on phrases from the vocabulary.
- Then, you will write a reply to the email.
- Type your response in Google Docs.
- Format your reply like the original message: Include a greeting, hit enter and write your reply, hit enter, write a goodbye, hit enter and write your name.
- Include everything included in the checklist at the end of the email.
- Do not use a translator. Use your vocabulary list, other words you know and the email itself to help you figure out what to say.

- Complete the comprehension questions for this video.
- This activity will be available for you on Wednesday.
5. Antes de/Después de
- In our Google Meet session Wednesday, we will go over "antes de + infinitive" and "después de + infinitive"
- Basically, you always use an infinitive after a preposition such as de.
- If the verb after de is reflexive, make sure to attach the correct reflexive pronoun.
- Antes de levantarme, yo me despierto. Before getting up, I wake up.
- During Google Meet: in Google Classroom, you will open the activity called "Antes de/Después de" and complete the worksheet there.
- Translate the sentences using your vocabulary list. Do not use a translator.
6. Flipgrid speaking activity
- You will talk about your routine during a typical morning or day using terms from the vocabulary list.
- You will also ask a question for another student to respond to.
- The instructions will be in Flipgrid.
