Write the following math problems in Spanish and solve them.
- 5 + 3 =
- 4 - 2 =
- 7 + 2 =
- 8 - 5 =
- 3 + 6 =
Practicamos el alfabeto.
I will spell out different words in Spanish.
Consult your group and write the letters you hear.
Hold up your white board.
Hangman (5 minutos):
In your groups of two or three, practice the alphabet by playing hangman.
Use numbers or greetings vocabulary. Guess letters by saying the letters in Spanish.
Each person should think of 2 words for their group to guess.
Practicamos los números.
Actividad: As a class, we will try to say all of the numbers from 0 to 10 in order. (3 minutos)
One person will start with cero. Another person says uno. Continue until you finish with diez.
If anyone says the same number at the same time, you have to start over at cero, and you can't communicate about who is going to say the next number.
2 minutos: to talk or to look at your phones. I will hand out computers during this time.
We will take notes on the days of the week.
There are notes on pg. 13 of the pdf.

- Note: in Spanish, the week begins with Monday.

You will each need two pieces of computer paper.
Step 1: Fold each piece of paper in half so that it is long, and cut the papers in half.
Step 2: Stack the four strips of paper so that they are staggered like in the picture below.
Step 5: Write the days of the week in Spanish on each of the tabs. Write the days in English underneath each flap.

To review some of the topics we have learned so far, you will work on 5 short activities on a short worksheet. Skip the Escuchar (listening) activity.
We will go over the answers in 10-15 minutes.
I will give you a paper with a map of South America on one side and Mexico/Central America on the other.
Label the countries using your notes. Fold the map in half, and attach it to pg. 7 of your cuaderno interactivo.
